Hi! We’re Niki & Liv, the ones behind Plastered Plonk.

Our little “baby” has been a long time in the thinking. Like, literally years of “we should actually do this” in our chats.

Born somewhere between sleep deprivation, voice notes, and “this would be funny on a bottle,” we decided to stop overthinking it and just make the damn thing.

We create Plonk Plasters - labels designed and made right here in New Zealand - for when you don’t quite have the words, but still want to say something AND give someone a bottle of wine.

Because sometimes a card feels like admin.
And sometimes a bottle of wine on its own just isn’t quite enough.

So you slap a Plonk Plaster on it  - whether it’s a cheap bottle or a good one - and suddenly it’s the best gift in the room.

It says what you’re thinking.
It says what they need to hear.
It says what you’d never put or can find in a card.

Why we exist

Because gifting should feel fun again.
Because humour lands better than Hallmark.
Because “thinking of you” hits harder when it’s stuck to a bottle of Pinot.

Who we are

Niki & Liv, just two mums with full time jobs running on caffeine, sometimes wine and a lot of SOS messages sent on days where we wake up feeling deceased, have been peed on again by the baby and just left the house without a bra on. 

True story though, every time you buy from us we literally do a little dance for joy. Not because designing and printing your Plonk Plasters gives us a little “time out” from our chaos, not because your purchase helps us fund our caffeine habit but because someone believes in us and our dream.
