We get asked about our labels a lot. Turns out people have questions when they're putting words on wine. Here are the big ones.


Label Size & Design

What size are the labels?

Our standard wine bottle labels are 9cm wide × 12cm high — designed to fit snugly on a 750ml bottle. If you're ordering for a different bottle size, get in touch and we'll see what we can do.

💡 Pro tip: Bottle shapes vary more than you'd think. We recommend holding the label up against your bottle before applying it — and if needed, trim the edges for a perfect fit. A good pair of scissors and a steady hand go a long way.


Applying Your Labels

How do I apply the label to the bottle?

It's easier than you think:

  1. Make sure the bottle is clean and dry — no moisture or dust.
  2. Peel the label carefully from the backing sheet.
  3. Starting from one edge, press the label onto the bottle and smooth it down as you go to avoid bubbles.
  4. Run your thumb firmly over the label to make sure it's fully adhered.

Will the label stick properly to a cold bottle?

For best results, apply the label at room temperature before chilling the bottle. Labels applied to a wet or condensation-covered bottle may not adhere as well.

Are the labels waterproof?

Our labels are water-resistant and hold up well in a chilly bin or fridge — but we wouldn't recommend submerging them in an ice bucket for hours on end.


Lead Times

How long does it take to make my order?

We typically process and dispatch orders within 1-2 business days. During busy periods (Christmas, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day — you know the drill), it may take a little longer. We'll always let you know if there's a delay.

Can I get a rush order?

If you're in a pinch, contact us before placing your order and we'll do our best to help. We can't always guarantee it, but we'll give it a crack.


Delivery

Where do you deliver?

Currently we deliver within New Zealand. Shipping rates and timeframes are calculated at checkout based on your location.

How long does delivery take?

Within NZ, most orders arrive within 1-2 business days after dispatch. Rural addresses may take a day or two longer.

Do you deliver to rural addresses?

Yes! Rural delivery is available across NZ. Please note that rural addresses may incur an additional rural delivery fee, which will need to be selected at checkout.

How do I track my order?

Once your order is dispatched, you'll receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. Use that to follow your parcel's journey to your door.

My order hasn't arrived — what do I do?

First, check your tracking link. If it's been longer than expected and tracking isn't showing any movement, get in touch and we'll investigate for you.
